The Motorola India at Twitter, confirmed the launch of Motorola One Power, the first Motorola android one phone in India, on 24th September.
The tweet also mentioned that Motorola One Power is co-creation of Motorola + Google. The 15 sec teaser video asked “are you ready?”.
Motorola One Power was unveiled at IFA 2018 in Berlin late last month alongside its cheaper model Motorola One. It is the second android one phone of the company after Moto X4, but the first for Indian customers.
According to a report, Motorola One Power rocks a 6.2-inch Full HD+ Max Vision display (1080 x 2246 pixels) having 19:9 aspect ratio. It has 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, USB Type-C, and the abundant 3.5mm headphone jack and 8.4mm of thickness with a glass back.
Under that glass back, it’s sporting an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC and an Andreno 509 GPU clubbed with 3GB/4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of internal storage.
It has a gigantic 5,000mAh battery with Motorola’s TurboPower charger that can give six hours of phone usage in just 15 mins.
It has dual rear camera setup of a 16MP primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, and a secondary 5MP depth sensor with f/2.2 aperture. The front-facing camera is 12MP.
Lenovo owned Motorola has reportedly confirmed that the device would receive Android 9 Pie update in the near future.
